Faith is not a destination but a lifelong journey of seeking, listening, questioning, and growing. Education is one of the ways we respond to God’s invitation to love with our minds as well as our hearts.
Rooted in the Reformed tradition and shaped by a progressive understanding of the Gospel, we affirm that learning is sacred work. We trust that God is still speaking—and that faithful discipleship calls us to curiosity, courage, compassion, and justice. Our educational ministries create space to explore scripture deeply, wrestle honestly with theology, and practice Christ’s love in real and tangible ways.
Children's Church happens during worship, at the time of the sermon. Our curriculum centers on developing a meaningful relationship with God and learning how to practice Christ’s love in the world. Through storytelling, prayer, creativity, and conversation, children are invited to see themselves as beloved and called.
Kid’s Club (Elementary Age) explores discipleship through fun, hands-on activities, service projects, games, and shared experiences. Children learn that faith is not only something we believe—it is something we live.
Our annual VBS takes place one week in the evenings, In 2026 in July. Children Pre-K through 5th grade from DPC and the wider community enjoy Bible lessons, games, crafts, and a light dinner each night.
Our youth ministry creates brave space for young people to wrestle with tough questions and explore the intersections of faith, culture, justice, and daily life. We believe doubt is not the opposite of faith—it is often the doorway to a deeper one. Youth are encouraged to find their voices, engage scripture thoughtfully, and live with integrity and compassion.
Through lessons, worship, games, and community, our children and teens grow deeper in their walk with Christ.
Women’s Bible Study & Men’s Groups Our adult ministries provide space for thoughtful study, honest conversation, and spiritual encouragement. Whether gathering around scripture, discussing contemporary issues, or sharing life’s joys and challenges, these groups nurture connection and growth. We also believe the Spirit continues to lead us in new directions. If there is a study, group, or conversation you long to see, we are open to new ideas and emerging opportunities to learn and grow together. Faith formation is a shared journey, and every voice matters. Wherever you are on your path—curious, committed, questioning, or somewhere in between—there is a place for you here. Together, we seek to become people who listen deeply, love boldly, and participate in God’s ongoing work of healing and hope in the world.
